We are Brittney and Ryan, Owners and Operators of The Original Conroe Ice Cream Boat. Our goal is to offer a wide variety of treats to you, your family, and your friends so your day on the lake can be the best day ever. We love what we do and look forward to meeting you!
Our Story
The idea of an Ice Cream Boat began on a hot summer day while we were sitting at Lake Conroe Park, wishing we had a sweet treat to enjoy and reminiscing about the days when the Ice Cream Truck would drive by our house as kids. The sound of the truck in the distance would send us running to get money from our parents so we could get a Bomb Pop or an Ice Cream Sandwich to help cool us off.
Staring out at Lake Conroe, we decided right then and there that the one thing missing from an otherwise perfect day was Ice Cream!
We want to bring the joy and nostalgia of the Ice Cream Truck to all visitors of Lake Conroe throughout the hot summer months. Look for us on the lake, or FOLLOW US LIVE throughout the day.
HOSTING PARTY? We'd love to help! We can help make your birthday party, wedding, family reunion, or business meeting even better by bringing the Conroe Ice Cream Boat directly to you! Don't live directly on the water? That's not a problem! Just let us know where your neighborhood boat ramp is and we'll pull right up.

Q: How do you find the Ice Cream Boat?
A: We have a live tracker on board that shows our location throughout the day. Click HERE or
use the QR code to find us when we’re out!​​
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We accept all methods of payment including cash, credit, debit, Apple Pay, Google Pay,
Cash App, or Venmo. The only payment we cannot accept is Zelle.

Q: How do we contact you when you’re on the water?
A: It can be difficult for us to answer the phone throughout the weekend, so the best method of contact is to send us a text message at 936.247.4344.

Q: What are your operating days and times?
A: We still have our Monday through Friday jobs, so we are only out on Saturday and Sunday as well as major holidays from approximately noon until 6 PM. We start our season in April and end in late September.

Q: Can we stop you if we are in a boat or do you only go to docks and beaches?
A: Yes! Anyone can pull us over for a sweet treat, whether you’re on a boat or a jet ski! For the safety of everyone on the lake, we prefer to move to a cove or closer to the shoreline to get out of the boat traffic.

Q: Can we request a stop at our dock?
A: Yes! We can make dock stops throughout the day.
Please understand that we receive numerous requests for this type of stop and do our best to accommodate them all; however, we may not be able to make it based on our location, schedules, or weather conditions. To request a stop, please send a text message to 936.247.4344 with your name, location, and approximate time frame and we’ll do our best!

Q: Do you post a schedule of stops for the weekend?
A: We typically will not post a schedule. Based on weather conditions, our previously booked parties, and dock stop requests, it is difficult for us to know for sure where we are going to be throughout the weekend. We do our best to cover as much of the lake as possible from north to south and east to west! Q: Can we use a party request on the website to secure a dock stop for me and my kids?
A: We try to accommodate as many stops as we can but also have to be fair to everyone on the lake. We ask that party requests are kept to a 15-person minimum because of the nature of those stops. For a party, we dedicate 30 minutes to an hour for these large gatherings and base our day around the location of these stops. A dock stop, on the other hand, is typically for small groups or families where we are in and out quickly.
